As the 27th of January approaches the shortlist seems to be getting smaller and smaller.  Rassie Erasmus has hinted at a technical analyst post at SARU, effectively ruling himself out.  Alister Coetsee has commented on his task at the Stormers being far from over.  Gert Smal is rumoured also to be finishing his contract in Ireland midway in 2013.  That leaves Heynecke Meyer as the only standout candidate.  John Mitchell has not distanced himself from the job, but SARU are hesitant to appoint a foreigner. Pieter De Villiers met with SARU boss Jurie Roux, he apparently was less than happy when exiting that meeting.  All fingers are pointing at Heynecke Meyer, in my opinion, 4 years too late.

What do you think?
